Well I wrote a little over 2k in total most of which is from The Mates, that I'm trying to finish. So that was a success! Hoping to be able to do more tomorrow! I haven't been in a slump so much as I'm at a lull and trying to explore the two MC's relationship, which they're doing at the same time. So I've been kind of eh in the writing the last few days. This was definitely a huge victory!

Written almost 1,000 words in the book 1 of Marina Humana trilogy today. That's an accomplishment because it's been slow-going. Hoping to also blow off some of that "dust" on Dream Bender and see if I can make something happen in that one. We'll see how that goes...

Jamie and Jen, this is awesome! Ya'll are having some majorly productive days!
For my part, my victory report is I finally finished Part 1 of Book 4. This is where things get even more difficult, but having a completed chunk felt like an impossible dream last week, so this is a huge relief. xD

I just passed 13,000 words title in book 1 of the Marina Humana trilogy. I'm still 14,000 words shy of reaching the daily par for the challenge, but it's been so progress. About as slow as breaking the language barrier between Oceana and Brandon. :/

So, er, can we brag about yesterday's victories as well as today's? I'm gonna do that now, stop me if I should stop or anything, aight? YESTERDAY I wrote words (313w) that were mostly good words for a story I am preparing for a story swap with a deadline at the end of February. I am a very slow writer but this is still good because the words were not poop and thus shall count as quintuple their standard value in all records for posterity's sake. GO ME I say! Also YESTERDAY, I worked more on the design for a beta character sheet I am in the process of creating for a D&D-esque RPG game I am developing. Who woulda thunk re-play-ability would be found in variable gameplay mechanics AND in creating hard limits on potential advancement? By which I mean, I now have a levelcap for the game at which point the player will have basically achieved deity, so yeah. Still got some details and fine tuning to work on. woof. But it's goin goooood! I have literally ten days to write the next script/beat-sheet for my next D&D game's plot. :s Wish meh luck! TODAY I will do something... probably. I'm listening to Hyper Light Drifter OST and it is AMBIENT! <3

YAY!!!!
I am tweeting all the tweets and trying to make a hashtag happen.
Oh.
Yeah, I wrote a lot of words yesterday and today. Some of them were handwritten. I have yet to count them up.

I wrote a lot of words yesterday and felt very good! Made headway through The Mates and I think it'll end in the next 15k? So yay!

Yesterday's victory comes in the form of not dying. Like actually. I paused the death-clock on the world and no one died including me #lies. I also read a little bit and interacted socially with individuals not on the other side of a screen. VICTORY, I say.
Today I am going to prepare a cheat-sheet sliding-scale of victorious possibilities so that even when the poop and the rotary motor combine, I still have a thing that will say I done good. So there.
Eat my bubbles!

Jamie, to quote Theoden of Rohan fame: *"Victory! We have Victory" [insert oliphants]* I, on the other hand, have made a sliding scale of LoP = Levels of Productivity. I kept it simple, it's just a means of determining what VICTORY looks like on any given day. First I determine the day's level, then I do the thing according to that level, then #profit. Here's what it looks like: Levels of Productivity (1 = BESTEST): 1 = write 300+ words without giving up/crying. 2 = edit a ch or segment. 3 = exist in the vicinity of keyboards/pens. TODAY was a LoP 1 day, so yay me!
