Even though the first round of camp is over for the year, we keep marching on like the writing warriors we are. So, let's hear what your May goals are.
Writing I don't plan to do much this month honestly. I might start working through the terrible first draft of Thicker Than Blood (book 3) or do some writing in Cleansing Rain (eco terrorism story). It would be nice to have the first draft of that done. Either way I don't plan on setting any word count goals this month and just work at an easy pace for a change.
Reading I want to get a decent amount of reading in this month and start a review section for indie book on my website. -First will be to finish reading The Chaos Circus (finally). As a side not this is not a knock at all at Nay's book which is awesome, it's just I haven't had time to really devote to reading this month trying to Family Binds to the editor. Other books I'm hoping to get to this month are book I picked up as part of IndieApril on Twitter. -Courage by Lauren Salisbury (A scifi retelling of Moses) -First of their Kind by C.D. Tavernor -Between Two Minds by D C Wright-Hammer -Duckett & Dyer: Dicks for Hire by G.M. Nair I'm a slow reader so I'm sure I won't get through all of them but If I can finish two this month I'll be happy
Other -I need to do a major revamp/update of my website. I need to add stuff for Family Binds. I want to try to get ahead on some blog posts. And I want to add an indie bookshelf with reviews and things like that.

So excited that you got your book to the editor, Holly!
Writing
I want to finish my WIP from Campnano, and maybe get at least my husband to read it and start on revisions. I have a lot of ideas to make it better.
Reading
-I promised my friend I'd read Tower of Dawn and Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas, so I guess I'd better do that! -I do want to look up books for Last Resort friends that have published (Holly/Nay, for example!) and check those out, so that's on my list, too!
Other
-I have to get Jedi robes still. -Decide what my next project will be after this one's more polished, maybe for next camp?

Well done to both of you. I'm still doing my first book.
Writing Same, I'm not going to do much of anything this month. Nano always burns me out a bit, between work, social life and girlfriend, adding writing time fills pretty much all my free time.
Reading My plan is to return to a couple of my favourite books/authors ahead of getting into the second draft of my first book. I want to really think about what makes them so attractive to me while I read and what keeps bringing me back to them year after year. I tried that before starting my first book and ended up just consuming them, like I always do, getting lost in them and coming out the other end wondering what happened to those 6 hours or so each.
Other Will try to get to the movies once or twice, John Wick 3 and Tolkien are on the list for this month.

I'm trying not to set too many goals - I'll just disappoint myself, LOL.
Writing:
I still need to finish the first drafts of both camp projects. Learning to switch between projects is still ongoing, and that slows me down. But as long as I write every day, I'm determined not to worry about the actual wordcounts.
Reading:
I need to get back into the habit of reading for pleasure again. For the last years, I've only read for information. Not sure what book I'll choose - some old book I loved, or something new.
Other:
I switched to a ketogenic diet, and I guess that transition will be my focus for a while. Once I'm over the carb-cold-turkey, I hope I'll have the energy to finally start running (and doing yoga... all that falling off and getting back on the bandwagon should count as a workout in itself LOL).
Also, I kinda want a Jedi robe now myself.

I took a short break from my project but starting this week, it'll be time to get back in gear.
Writing: - work on The Time Rift (I'd like to finish it but things might get hectic so at the very least, I'd like to write in it every day) - draft short story for BQ anthology - finish edits on The Reesh Lantern - work on fanfics whenever I can, probably switching between Dream, Terminus, and Tide
Reading: - read more fanfic - read something at least
Other: - don't die, I guess (this is going to be a very writing-centric month)

Writing: --Plan out several new fanfiction stories --Solidify plans for July Camp (thinking right now that it's going to be "Monster in the Mirror" which is another Blue Exorcist fanfiction)
Reading: --Find books at the library to read now that I have free time
Professional: --Job search at least every other day --Apply for jobs as they become available --Schedule and attend any requested interviews --Register for summer grad classes --Continue subbing (last full month of school)
Fun: --Continue watching new Fruits Basket anime (one episode per week as they are released--Friday afternoon release; watch on Saturday afternoons) --Go see Endgame again --Attend concert (Blue Oyster Cult) toward the end of the month
