Of course, April is Camp NaNo month, but as we all know, I'm insane enough to have additional projects, too!
Writing:
- Finish The Race - at least the first draft. Since I'm already 3/4 done, this is actually doable.
- Reach my 60K words for my camp project - considering I don't even have a title, this is excitingly uncertain (insert maniacal laughter).
- Attend Wattpad short story contests. Because short stories are fun, and don't take up much time. Besides, Ssrk and Parker demand a comeback.
Reading:
- Read my Wayfarer's book partner's book.
- Read my Platypus book partner's book.
- Read ALL THE BOOKS I need to research my NaNo project.
(weeps silently)
Other stuff (and I'm not talking about eating, sleeping, and taking a shower once in a while):
- Get to the drawing workshop. The reason I haven't done so until now isn't lazyness, but nerves. I don't want to be a beginner, dammit!
This month, do weekly check-ins here, because it's no use writing down your goals at the beginning of the month, only to forget about them until the 31st comes around...

I guess I probably should set my goals for this month...
Writing --Write the first 25,000 words in Life Lessons From Spirit World (hopefully it will not fall short) to reach my Camp Nano goal --Write a little more of OSAL before I shelve it. That story was not ready to be written, it seems. --Poke at Dream Bender and see if it still lives
Academics --Keep up with grad class work. The end of the semester is so near! --Administer the required state standardized tests --Begin the novel unit with the sixth graders
Others --Catch all of the Pokemon and complete the quests so I can get the legendaries --Have a social life (like, go out and spend time with people)

April is already shaping up to be a crazy busy month. I have my grandfather's memorial service one weekend that will require us to travel to Pittsburgh (4.5 hours one way in the car with 2 kids, yippy!). Then my family always goes camping Easter weekend somewhere with an indoor pool for the kids, though I'm hoping to sneak some writing time in that week. I also keep changing my goals, but here's what I got.
Writing -Finish the book 2 rewrites -Find an editor for book 2 -Reach out to my cover designer as soon as he opens back up for commission April 30 -Work on 1st draft of Cleansing rain (I'd love to finish it but I don't think I'll have the time in April. If I can at least get started on it I should be able to finally finish the first draft in May after starting it over a year ago).
Reading The Chaos Circus!!! I was saving it for the Easter weekend to read while the kids play in the pool or at the park, but I'm not sure I can wait that long. I'll probably read it in the car on the way to Pittsburgh.
Other life stuff -Watch Thor Ragnarok and Infinity Wars at least twice to get ready for End Game -Go through baby stuff to get ready for a mom to mom sale first weekend in April -I'll probably get roped into helping my sister move

Omg I have no April goals other than getting through Camp and get at least some writing done for Rules of Enchantment!
I'm leaving this here as a placeholder in case I can think of anything else.

I am so excited for Endgame but so nervous at the same time. Like, what is Marvel going to do with this now? Although, Captain Marvel was so good. I'm excited to see her again...and Stan Lee (RIP). This is actually going to be a different YYH fic. I've had this one planned for a few years now.
