This is just a fun little thread I thought up yesterday. A lot of people really love the "synopsis" aspect of NaNo - getting to write up that insight, that blurb for your story can really get you stoked to start it! And what's more, writing a good synopsis is helpful in the publishing industry! So this thread is all about honing the synopsis craft; post a synopsis for any and all of your books. First, second, fifteenth in a series, doesn't matter; post as many as you want. And since we're all friends here, while it's not REQUIRED that you comment on anyone else's...well, I hope we all love each other's work enough to give a high-five and encouragement, and even suggestions to improve as it's due!
(I'm just posting mine from camp to launch the thread. Gotta rework my Book 3 and write one for Book 2 soon!)

STARCHASER SAGA - DARKWIND
The Middle Kingdom of Talheim has enjoyed peace for decades. But with the challenge of war from the ruthless, half-mad King Jad in the South, choices must be made. And for Princess Cistine, that means embarking on a dangerous quest.
With the lives of family and friends in the balance, and the threat of war rising against her kingdom, Cistine hatches a daring plan: to journey to the shores of the Northern Kingdom and barter an alliance that might prevent war.
But when her plot carries her and her companions to the unfamiliar shores of Valgard, far from home, she finds a more deadly adventure than she plotted for. Captured by an outcast and his brutal cabal, Cistine faces a choice: risk the wilds of the North and the shrouded intentions of one Court's obsessive Chancellor, with nothing but her wit and her two companions beside her; or allow her captors to train her to face the cunning nobility...for a price.
Caught in the dangerous games of a tenuous political climate, a ruthless land, and an unpredictable band of outlaws, Cistine must learn how to fight, how to lead...and above all, how to trust herself. If a princess can't be forged into a fighter, then her kingdom may fall.
But in order to be forged, one must walk through fire.

HOOOOOOOLYYYYYYYY COWWWWWW I have no words for this. Just. Yeah. This...this is your entire series summed up in one synopsis. It's Cistine, it's Ashe, Julian and the entire cabal, and it's perfect. <3 I wanna read your other ones so badly now ugh.
------------------
CALLED IT. GONNA DO THEM ALL.
The Demons' War (Prequel, Demons' War series)
Our war has been raging for millennia. Thousands of years of bloodshed and violence.
So you can imagine that it’d be a little overwhelming to be told that you’re the one destined to end it.
Valatrak Tyson – half-demon, super-soldier, elite infantry commander and the Council’s secret weapon. His story is no secret. But how he became everything he is now, what made him into the soldier he is today…that’s something else entirely. This is how it all began for him.
And sooner or later, he’ll be forced to watch as everything is taken from him.
Shadow – titan, tactical mastermind and weapons instructor. Her name is a mystery, as is the rest of her story. There are brief hints to her past, but only glimpses and enough details. This is what she was like once, before the Army. Before everything turned to dust.
Sooner or later, she will make an impossible decision. One that will turn the tides of the war forever.
The two of them met by chance. But over the course of five thousand years, their actions and decisions were what shaped the events of Satan’s invasion…and of the Demons’ War.
Blazing Fires (book 1, Demons' War series)
Sixteen years ago, the Darkness Army launched their first attack. Rodger Healy was only seventeen at the time, having just joined a secret organisation called the IDU, created to deal with invasions like these. Now the demons are trying again.
The leader of the IDU, Colonel Sandark, is a ‘good’ demon. Or so Healy has come to think of him. But the Army’s power and numbers have grown since the last time they were here, and Healy must learn to work with two more demons who swear they are also trying to prevent the second invasion. Little do they know exactly what is in store for them this time.
This time, the stakes are much higher. This time, if they fail, they would face the apocalypse.
Burning Embers (book 2, Demons' War series)
Earth has fallen to the demons. The last of the resistance will be crushed in a matter of weeks, if not days. The wielder of the last two Legend Blades has failed to kill Satan, and is struggling for survival with the rest of the IDU. If they don’t act soon, the demons will destroy the human world and all who live upon it.
Meanwhile, the former leader of the Army is on the run after her failure to kill Valatrak. When she turns up at the IDU base, offering to help and desperate for some form of shelter, the others don't know whether or not to trust her. Her only chance of getting them to believe her story is the man she had shot only hours before. If he forgives her.
Fading Ashes (book 3, Demons' War series)
After failing to hold the last resistance base against the Army, Rodger Healy and his allies find themselves stranded in the wilderness of Scotland, on a mountainside where temperatures fall rapidly at night and water freezes in minutes. They have neither the supplies or the numbers to fight. The Colonel is gone. Valatrak cannot continue much longer. Darkness falls.
Time is running out. Things are looking bleak as they find themselves on the run, relentlessly pursued by the Army. They will not give up, however. They started all this. They will see it through.
To the end.
Eternal Flames (WIP synopsis and title, book 4/sequel, Demons' War series)
Fourteen years ago, Valatrak ended the millennia-long war between Satan’s forces and the good demons. Now he and his allies must finish the job – track down the rest of Satan’s army and eliminate them for good. But a lot has changed in fourteen years, and now, to make things worse, the humans are plotting revenge. The Army is returning to power. The Council cannot hold a fight on two fronts.
Gavin, leader of the titan lords, has come up with a solution to locate and shut down the remaining portals from Satan’s invasion, reuniting Valatrak with an old friend.
But something is wrong. The Army is hiding something and the humans have a surprising knowledge of the demon world.
And the Council may not realise until it is too late.
The Demon Hunter Chronicles: Rising Tides (WIP synopsis, book 1, The Demon Hunter Chronicles)
The Demon Hunter League was created for two things. One was to defend the human world from invading demons. Two…guard a mysterious gate in Athens. A gate which has been dormant until now.
With time quickly running out and no knowledge of what the gate even is, the shapeshifters are forced to turn to the demons once again for help. They agree reluctantly and begin to investigate, pooling resources from both worlds together to crack the gate.
Meanwhile, something is stirring in the demon world, hidden away from even the mighty titan lords. The tides of the Silver Ocean are rising for the first time in millions of years, and an old legend is about to awaken.

These synopses are great, Chief! They capture all the important elements - worldbuilding, central characters, central conflicts, not just in an entertaining way, but with hints and teasers that build up suspense and make my fingers itch to buy these books... SO HURRY UP AND FINISH THEM! * Okay, my synopses are short - because space is limited on ff.net, and because they are only novellas, and I don't want to give away the whole plot. So maybe it'd be fair to call them tv blurbs (since they are meant to be "episodes" of that show)... just a little tease for what's to come: The Child (part 9 of Planet of the Apes - Hunted series, currently being written): Cornered by Urko and his men, the fugitives have no choice but to hide inside a Forbidden Zone, where apes don’t dare to follow. When they discover the ruins of yet another city, Virdon insists they search for technology that might bring them home - but the ruins harbour a deadly secret... The Race (part 10 - outlined): In order to earn money, Galen sends Burke to the racetracks. After winning several smaller races, Burke and „Yuma“ set their eyes on the yearly grand race, but soon they are in the crosshairs of conflicting interests of several players, and uncover a deadly plan to score the biggest betting coup in the history of the race... The Cage (part 11) - outlined... heck, they're all outlined!): Galen continues to hire out „his“ humans, while he can’t use his identity as veterinarian „Dr. Kova“. When Burke gets abducted while running an errand for Galen, and the chimpanzee cancels Virdon’s contract prematurely so that he can help him find Burke, he discovers that he has inadvertently sold him into the worst kind of business... The River (part 12, concludes part 1/Hunted of the saga): Virdon, having lost his memory after almost drowning in a raging torrent, is taken in by the young son of the local prefect. Refusing to flee with the strangers who claim to be his friends, he settles into his new life as the young ape’s pet. Only a tragedy that almost costs Burke his life restores Virdon’s memory, and compels him to make a far-reaching decision.

I feel you with the short synopsis for stories on FFNET. Especially since I've taken to posting my stories on AO3 first, and there's a lot more room for summaries than on FFNET. I love the feeling of your synopses--I can picture reading one of the synopses just before starting an episode of a show. And since your story is based off a tv show, that's perfect! They're short and to the point but concise enough that I am intrigued for what's to come from the story.
-----
Here's my synopses from the various projects I've worked on for both Camp and Nano!
Mors Terra: Mors Terra was supposed to be inhabitable. At least their computer reported that it was archived in the Database as such. However, Lieutenants Ryder and Kathryn soon discover otherwise when their 740 raptor crash-landed onto the planet. Stranded, and no way of communicating to the outside universe, the two must learn how to get along with one another as they delve into deep into the mysteries of the desert planet.
Never-Last: “Because that’s the beauty of life. It never lasts longer than what is allotted.”
All children, except one, must grow up. Everyone knows at the end of the day Wendy must grow up and Peter Pan will always stay young and innocent and heartless forever. But what if one day Peter decides to forbade Wendy from growing up?
In the midst of this, Captain Hook seeks out revenge on Peter Pan for something more than a missing hand.
Untitled Robots Story: Humans need not apply in the year 3017. Robots have taken over the work force, allowing humans to kick back and simply enjoy life for once. It's not slavery if they're robots, right?
Isle of Bert: Martin Webb is a FINO, fisherman in name only. He hails from a long line of Fishermen, from a little island off the coast of New England. Nothing interesting ever happens on the Isle. Until, that is, when a mermaid gets caught in Martin's net.
When Everyone's a Super: Supermans are a dime a dozen nowadays. Just ask Meredith, who had 70 kids in her graduating class with super strength alone. Not everyone is blessed with the flashier powers though. Redundants are what people call those with powers that don't seem all that useful. Meredith is one of them, and this is her story.

The Change
When you look at Seraphina's young life, you think she's a normal kid with a normal family. She's going to grow up normal. Not too extraordinary but not too plain either. Just normal. Of course, that's how things would've been until The Tinkers stepped in. Taken from her home, Sera has to adapt to the changes around her, going from a room to a cell, yummy meals to plain meals, only kid around the house to sleeping in the cell next to another, going from a loving home to a hostile environment. Soon, she learns she needs to change in order to survive to new world.

@kate879 I LOVE that quote for Never-Last! I would read the hell out of that! naynish OMG I WANT ALL THE BOOKS NOW. Chiefy Ooooh those sound so epic! I love how much depth your world has. Athaia Hooooly crap. You've taken this premise, and you've run with it, and you've made it your own! Seriously, your fandom should be bigger! Jamie I love the new synopsis! I also love how the title refers no to Sera's power, but to how she was changed irrevocably as a person by what happened to her, and how she chooses to change later in order to get justice!
Okay. Here they are...all of them. I guess I never did get around to doing a separate one for all the characters, did I? Some of these are really rough. Starfall, Book 1: Into the Dead Red Light - Synopses
